Dark Spectrum is taking place in the Wynyard Tunnels, Sydney. The entrance is via Wynyard Park Rooftop.
Please note, the exit for Dark Spectrum is located approx. 350m away from the entrance. You will exit via Cumberland Street in The Rocks.
Dark Spectrum will be open every day from 12pm until 9:15pm, 24 May to 15 June.
Dark Spectrum is suitable for a wide range of age groups to enjoy. However, please be advised that children between the ages of 6 and 12 must be accompanied by an adult; children aged 5 and under are not permitted into the event.
Customer discretion is advised when purchasing tickets for those who may not be comfortable amidst an immersive, high-volume experience. The experience takes place along a one-way system in a series of underground tunnels with limited exits once inside. Some of the lighting sequences will include flashing, flickering and patterned effects, as well as strobe effects. Smoke and haze effects may be used in some areas of the route.
For safety reasons, strollers and prams are not permitted.
Please note, whilst every effort is made to make the event fully accessible, the landscape within the tunnel covers some difficult terrain with a number of varying gradients. These areas can be particularly challenging and wheelchair users may require assistance. Please see the accessibility drop down below for more information.

We recommend booking in advance online. Each timed entry has a limited capacity, and we expect this event to sell out. Tickets will be on sale at the venue when not sold out on events nights only from 24 May to 15 June.
Ticket prices vary depending on the date and time of your visit. General admission tickets can be purchased for between $35 to $46 and child tickets (age 6 – 12 years) can be purchased for between $24 to $35. Family tickets (2 adults and 2 children aged 6 – 12 years) can be purchased for between $98 and $154.
Children between the ages of 6 and 12 must be accompanied by an adult; children aged 5 and under are not permitted into the event.
Tickets purchased on the day of the event are subject to a $5 increase per person.
Unfortunately, this is not possible. It is important to make sure that you choose the right date and time slot when you buy tickets, as we are not able to offer exchanges or refunds after tickets have been purchased.
We may not be able to guarantee entry if you do not show up at the time indicated on your ticket. Please give yourself enough time to arrive and check in for the event. If you do arrive late, we may ask you to wait until we can accommodate you.
Yes, holders of a government issued companion card can access a free ticket for their companion. Proof of eligibility will be required upon entry. Please book these tickets via the booking process or by calling Ticketek’s Accessible Line on 1300 665 915.

The entrance to Dark Spectrum is via Wynyard Park Rooftop above Wynyard Train Station. Tickets will be scanned in Wynyard Park near the ticket booth positioned between York St and Carrington St. Once your ticket is scanned you will be guided by a steward to the entrance.

We would like to highlight that the tunnels feature two ramps with inclines of approximately 6.7 degrees downhill and 7.8 degrees uphill. It is important to consider these gradients when planning your journey through the tunnels with your mobility scooter/wheelchair.
Guests with sensory sensitivity are welcome in Dark Spectrum at any time, however, please note that the event is a light and sound show that will be loud in some spaces and will include strobe effects and flashing lights.
